Costa Maya Festival 2010
San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye will light up between August 5th – 8th, 2010. Thursday night will be full of glamour and glitz as the beauty representatives of the above mentioned countries will take to the stage vying for the crown now in Nicaragua’s Maritza Rivas’ possession. Rivas wowed the crowed with her charm and poise in the 2009 Reina de la Costa Maya Pageant.
For this year’s pageant, the International Costa Maya Festival Committee has released the participation of five of their candidates. They are as follows:

The International Costa Maya Festival committee continues to work everyday in planning what is the island’s biggest International Festival. Their new website keeps fans in touch with what will take place this year in San Pedro Town.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the Old Football Field which is the venue for the event, will be jam packed not only with bright lights and music, but costumes, dances, and comedic entertainment will be highlighted throughout the four days. Festival passes will be available and the official website will have information on how much they will cost.
Saturday night has always been designated as International Night and the Costa Maya Festival has had the likes of Laura Leon, Niurka Marcos, Kumbia Kings, Cristian Castro, Los Illegales and many more. This year’s highlighted entertainment comes courtesy of Angel and Khriz. Click below to listen to a couple of their big hits.
Angel y Khriz is a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo, consisting of Angel Rivera Guzmán and Christian Colón. They work largely withLuny Tunes. They were introduced in 2002 in the CD MVP, by Hector “El Father” with the song “Cazando Voy”. Los MVP’s is Angel y Khriz’s own CD where they present the listener to soulful hits like Ven Baílalo and Te Quiero Ver Hoy, as well as De Casería (featuring Divino) and the up beat Ram Pa Pan Pan.
