Castle Cars Golf Cart Rental

Castle Cars is conveniently located in the heart of San Pedro town. All our golf carts are EZ-GO gas powered, four seaters, each equipped with windshield protector, headlights, and emergency brakes. Our carts are custom lifted with All Terrain tires and rims for the convenience and comfort of a smooth ride throughout Ambergris Caye.

Policies

  • All renters must have a valid driver’s license.
  • There is no refund for any unused time or early return. No refund on prepaid gas.
  • All carts must be returned with a full tank of gas, unless prepaid. Please note that the gas station closes at 5:00pm and opens at 8:00am. As a result, it is strongly recommended to prepay for gas so as not to be inconvenienced.
  • A Refundable security deposit of $200US or $400BZ is required.
  • A $30 BZ charge will be issued for unreturned locks, keys, or chains
  • Maximum persons is 4 on 4-seater golf carts
  • Do not leave keys in the carts when parked
  • Golf Carts must be locked at all times when parked.
  • No drinking alcohol while driving.
  • No driving while under the influence of alcohol
  • Abide by all road rules

Road Rules of San Pedro

  • There are only three main streets in San Pedro, Front St. (Barrier Reef Dr.), Middle St. (Pescador Dr.) and Back St (Angel Coral St.)
  • Front street is one way heading North, Middle street is one way heading South, Back street is both ways. All other streets that run across are one way.
  • On the Front street parking from the 1st- 15th of each month is on the right hand side, from the 16th – end of the month is on the left hand side.
  • Middle and Back street parking is always on the right hand side.
  • Front street is closed to vehicles on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
  • Carry your driver’s license when driving a golf cart.
  • Drive on the right side of the road and use hand signals while turning.
  • Follow all other traffic rules.
