Beth Colon was born in the United States, when she was 5 her family moved to Guatemala where she was raised, she learned Spanish and much about the culture. She returned to the United States where she began her study’s in Esthetics, she continued with Massage Therapy at the Alpha Institute of Massage therapy where she completed her training in 1998. Beth began her career at the Lane Spa for Wellness in Palm Beach Florida. As she continued in her career she began learning more about natural health and alternative treatments. She prides herself on the use of Natural and Organic products. Beth became a part of Black Orchid Spa when it was still in the concept stages. She has been critical in developing our Black Orchid Product line. Beth believes that educating her clients about the importance and benefits of natural products in part of there complete wellness experience. Although small in stature she can work out you tightest muscles and help you relax during your massage session.

Kristi Gonzalez was born right here in San Pedro. She began her education at the Atlanta School of Massage. She then transferred to Florida College of Natural Health where she completed her training and received her certification in 2005. Kristi then returned to Belize to begin her career. Kristi joined Black Orchid Spa as it was beginning and has helped to create complete treatments. Kristi prides herself on researching the local ingredients for their benefits on the body . She has developed several different body masks,scrubs and polishes that are used in the spa, some of which can be purchased to take home with you. Kristi has been featured in Spa Finder Magazine and has gotten great reviews for her Treatments.

Yolanda Ramirez was born in Orange Walk the northern side of Belize. Yolanda was raised in Belize City where she completed her schooling. She began her career in Guest Relations on the Island of San Pedro. Her positive attitude and personality have been a compliment to the The Black Orchid Spa. Her personality will make you feel right at home and she will help you to relax and unwind before you start any of your treatments.
