Located on a beautiful quiet beach, we offer the choice of two tasteful apartments or their combination as the whole house, depending on your group size. Each apartment is completely independent of the other with its own entrance to the property, yet easily combined for larger groups to sleep up to 14.

Upstairs at Casa Caracol comfortably sleeps 6 people with two bedrooms and two bathrooms while Downstairs at Casa Caracol has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and sleeps 8. Each has a fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining and living rooms and a large private veranda overlooking the beach and sea. A lazy ten-minute stroll along the seashore will find you in the lively centre of San Pedro Town.

Casa Caracol Upstairs Inside

The Upstairs at Casa Caracol is a light, open and airy design that incorporates two bedrooms, two bathrooms with spacious accommodations for up to six people.

The large living area has vaulted hardwood ceilings, ceiling fans, air conditioning and direct access to the Deck through French doors. The kitchen has all the expected modern appliances including a gas stove oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine and blender.

Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, a king-size bed (option of two singles beds in the rear bedroom), ceiling fans and air conditioning for your comfort. Both bedrooms have sea views with large windows for the cooling sea breezes.

There is also a queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room. Bed linens and towels (beach, bath, hand and face) are supplied for each guest and housekeeping is provided every other day.

The indoor entertainment includes a large cable TV with most of your favorite and premium channels. There is a CD radio tape player, and a selection of board games, books, and magazines.

Casa Caracol Upstairs Outside

Accessible from both the living area and the Master Bedroom the large private veranda has a spectacular view of the Caribbean and beach. With a dining area and sun chairs and partial shade it is the ideal place to hang out watch the sea catch a little sun or enjoy the colors change as the sun sets, cocktail in hand.

Right outside the front gate is the wide sandy beach and the turquoise Caribbean for those wanting a swim. There are many Coconut palms on the beach to string up one of the complimentary hammocks, or relax in the shade of the palm fronded umbrella “Palapas” Casa Caracol on the beach if they wish. Our guests also have complimentary access to a fresh water swimming pool, a dock with a swimming platform and a small beach side bar at a small family run resort, just a couple of hundred feet up the beach.

To the back of the house you will find a small shared garden with a washing line and a cold water shower complete with area for rinsing SCUBA and Snorkel gear. You can safely store rented bicycles here and there is a small parking area so you can park overnight a rented golf cart off the street.

Casa Caracol Downstairs Inside

The Downstairs at Casa Caracol is a fully equipped home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms and spacious accommodation for up to eight people.

All three bedrooms have sea views, air conditioning and ceiling fans. Two of the bedrooms have queen-size beds the third has a king bed with the option of two single beds.

There is also a double size futon in the living area. The two full sized bathrooms have all towels (beach, bath, hand, and face), linens and hairdryers, provided. The open plan living area has a large kitchen fully equipped with all the major appliances you would expect at home. Included is a gas stove/oven, microwave, fridge freezer, blender, and coffee machine.

The living area is air conditioned and is equipped with cable TV including most premier US Cable networks, a CD radio Tape player (and a selection of CD’s), books, magazines and board games to entertain you. There are large French doors leading out to the Deck and the beautiful views of the Caribbean.

Large Group Accommodations:

The combination rental of both the Upstairs and Downstairs at Casa Caracol gives you the rare opportunity in San Pedro to rent a luxury five bedroom four bathroom house right on a quiet beach, yet within a few minutes walk of the town center. The perfect retreat for your larger group of family or friends.

This option provides you the needed extra space a large group needs for both privacy and personal space at the same time as enough space for group entertainment as required.

Pricing can also be a key element to large groups and because Casa Caracol is charged by the number of people staying rather than a flat fee we feel you will find it great value. Access between the two apartments is simple with two external staircases allowing entry downstairs via either the front or rear of the building and it is also sheltered from any inclement weather.
